Albert C. Corhan, Sr. - Operational Administrator Active in Brooklyn Community

A member of the Adelphi Academy of Brooklyn administration since 2000, Albert C. Corhan, Sr. serves as Director of Academy Operations and Advancement. His affiliation with the historic institution extends to attending the Upper School College Preparatory Program. Following his graduation from Adelphi Academy of Brooklyn, his educational training spanned areas such as event planning, fundraising, marketing, and project management. He utilizes all of these skills daily in his present position.

Mr. Corhan, Sr. is accomplished as a musician and writer, and is a longtime martial arts enthusiast. His achievements in the arts on campus include launching the AdelphiRocks! Musical Arts Program and he executive produces the Adelphian Masquers Drama Society and Theater Arts Program. Every year, he performs as a featured artist with the school’s Annual Auction of Fine Art, and in 2025 he earned recognition from the St. George Theater for sustained community service and received the Community Impact Award.

Albert C. Corhan, Sr. is active in the Arab-American community and is one of three generations of his family associated with the Salaam Club of New York. He is also an Arab-American Christian Coalition founding member and has earned appointment to the Brooklyn Unity Task Force established by past New York State Senator Martin J. Golden. Albert C. Corhan, Sr. has volunteered for many community organizations and currently is a Board member of the Ben Bay Kiwanis Foundation.
